About Amy

Amy Wotovich is a Harvard graduate and nationally recognized springboard diver whose work is fueled by deep curiosity with how the world’s best athletes are training their minds.

The founder of the mental performance platform, Back The Team, Amy has personally led mindset training for more than 100 athletes across 13 states and four countries. Her work reaches 400,000 people each month, translating the psychology and habits of elite athletes into practical tools for everyday performance.

Her interview project with members of the 2026 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team has become the foundation for the most comprehensive primary dataset on athlete mindset in Olympic and Paralympic history. Amy brings the same energy to the stage as she does in her interviews. A practiced public speaker, she has spoken at venues including the Harvard Women in Entrepreneurship Conference and to sports teams nationwide, making mental performance research practical, engaging, and memorable.

She’s an avid traveler and a certified group fitness instructor. Her perfect day involves a cappuccino (or two!), fresh powder on the slopes, and lively dinner table conversation.
